We&#8217;re a team dedicated to delivering the best possible results for your project. I especially cherished our weekends and the occasional full weeks spent with my dear, sweet Baba at her three room homestead in Morecambe. Her tiny home featured a massive coal-fired stove, an under-the-kitchen-table earth-walled cold storage room, and an outdoor galvanized metal one-person bathtub. She also had a unique outdoor shower\u2014which my Uncle Jim and I designed\u2014attached to the side of her beautiful green painted outhouse, where wasps used to gather.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One of my favorite memories there was walking over to the town water well to manually pump water, carrying back countless heavy buckets for her cooking, cleaning, bathing, and showering needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most of my free time in my youth and teenage years were spend playing baseball as a pitcher and shortstop, football in the fall as an interior linebacker or safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the winter, I spent fifty-five years playing ice hockey as a reasonably capable netminder, a sport I first took up at five years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After completing my studies at the University of Alberta (U of A), the University of Calgary (U of C), and at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (N.A.I.T) &#8211; Building Construction Engineering Technology (B.C.E.T.), I spent eight years working as a construction manager for A.V. Carlson Construction and Intex Construction. Overseeing the construction of various high and low rise apartment\/commercial buildings in Edmonton, several new auto dealerships in both Calgary and Edmonton, and the renovation and new construction of the Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff, Alberta.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following that path, I chose to dedicate six years to serving with the Edmonton Fire Department. It was throughout this time that I envisioned and developed the concept for Infotree&#x2122; &#8211; &#8220;A Patent Searcher,&#8221; aimed at prior art research and patent information retrieval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I somehow possess a unique blend of speed-reading, comprehension, and technical drawing fluency. This enables me to dissect patents with exceptional efficiency, quickly grasping their intricate details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An insatiable curiosity within, fuels my desire to understand the world around me, particularly the elegant logic of mechanical devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;m a DIY handy person especially in fine woodworking or house construction, very skilled and comfortable with power and hand tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I do spend a fair amount of weekend time in our garage maintaining our classic 1976 Mercedes Benz 240D or taking it out for a drive enjoying our beautiful Alberta blue skies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;m a proficient PC builder, regularly upgrading my work and gaming full tower rigs to stay near the cutting edge. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whenever my work schedule and time allow, I make an effort almost every day to unwind by playing hard-core first-person-shooter (FPS) games and flight simulators on both PC and console (PlayStation). Currently, my rotation includes PlayerUnknown&#8217;s Battlegrounds (PUBG), the Sniper Elite series, Battlefield 6, and Arma Reforger, alongside DCS World and MS Flight Simulator 2020\/2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A passionate military history buff, constantly devouring non-fiction daily. My office library is a treasure trove of carefully curated military books and all the currently available patent research literature and reference books.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dedicated on one shelf is an extensive section on all the books published on the WWII Bristol Blenheim multi-function aircraft manufactured by the UK Bristol Aeroplane Company. During World War II, a deceased family member volunteered and flew as a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), flying the Bristol Blenheim Mk IV light bomber with No. 114 Squadron, 2 Group, Royal Air Force (RAF).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I really love chocolate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While I&#8217;m the one conducting your patent searches, my two feline coworkers, Cleopatra and Theos, keep me focused and calm.
